The HemoCue® Hb 201+ System is intended for the the quantitative determination of hemoglobin in whole blood
Every time the analyzer is turned on, it will automatically verify the performance of the optronic unit which means that a control cuvette is no longer needed
Produces accurate results in less than one minute
Requires small sample volume of capillary, venous, or arterial blood (10 mcl)
No calibration or instrument manipulation (between cuvette/reagent batches) needed
Automatically compensates for turbidity due to lipids or leukocytosis
Allow the analyzer to reach ambient temperature before use: 59 to 104 degrees F (15 to 40 degrees C)
The microcuvette serves both as a pipette and as a measuring cuvette and is for single-use only
